It's been a few months since I made these shower invites, but I think they're cute enough to show off. The best thing about these are how recycled they are. I used some plain white cardstock that they were getting rid of at work, red embroidery floss left over from some project, and simply hand wrote the card itself (I have ok penmanship if I really take my time). The envelopes are the best though-an entire box of envelopes with the old "JCPenney" logo on them that they were throwing out when they switched logos. Snatch. Put a label over it, and boom. Free envelopes.

So easy! Thread the needle and pull straight through the back of the card, knot the outside. I secured the knot with a tiny dot of Elmer's glue. On the inside, tie a knot....but don't pull it tight. Thread the floss through the middle of the front and create a little heart with some glue. When your guests open the card, they will literally tie the knot.
